Ice fishing has been fair, mainly because of ice conditions.  Slush on the lakes has made traveling tough.  Getting off packed trails is difficult for even the experienced rider.  Some local guys that have kept trails open to their favorite spots are still yielding some nice fish.  Better weather and temps around freezing will definitely help with fishing and fisherman getting out.  Over all things in the north are fairly quiet, everyone is looking forward to spring and late season ice fishing.  For many of you that spend the night in Intl Falls, I’ve been told that hotels are filling up so if you do not have reservations yet you should probably make a call.  As more guys are getting out on the ice in the next few weeks I hope to have some good stories for you.   Big thanks goes out to the Oakwood and Bobcaygeon boys for getting some press in Outdoor Life Magazine for Pickerel Creek Camp, great picture and awsome moose, Thanks guys.  Take care.
