Although many of you are experiencing better weather, Betty and I are still in winter and gearing up for some awesome days of ice fishing.  We made it back to camp a few days ago and are excited to get back to work, after a little ice fishing of course.  The winter was great! I stayed busy plowing snow and Betty spent much time with our grandchild.  It is always nice to enjoy the time off with friends and family.  We are very lucky to have such great people all around us.

There are not any changes to fishing regs for lakes that we fish the most.  Non-Resident 8-day sport fishing license are $49.02 and 8-day Conservation license are $28.27 for 2011.  Remember to bring your Outdoor cards with you.  For new customers you can get your Outdoor card here at PCC ($9.68)  Walleye opener is the 21st of May this year.  Double check your vacation dates, with the season opening one week later than last year there has been some confusion.  Walleye season in NW Ontario always opens on the third Saturday in May.

Hopefully we will have some good fishing reports in a few days.
