Fishing Report

Pickerel Creek Camp's Blog

Local and regional reports have been good to excellent!  Water temperatures always have a lot to do with whats going on.  One thing we have noticed in the last few days is the shiners are running and the fish are feeding heavily on them.  Flats and creek mouths are two places that you will find the bait fish.  Fish are still shallow but on a sunny clear days they are dropping down a bit.  Bush lakes are still producing quality fish with water temps staying in the low 60’s.  Cooler bodies of water are catching a lot of eater size fish and the larger females should be on the feed as well very soon.

Family outing for trout.
